Domestic Funds Offer Foreign Equity Exposure Amid International Fund Freeze
No international funds open? These 15 domestic funds still hold foreign equities — two schemes have over 26% allocation · livemint.com

Indian investors want to invest in companies outside India, but the only international mutual funds that let new people invest have stopped taking new money.

A big fund called Baroda BNP Paribas Aqua FoF paused new subscriptions on July 23, 2026.

It will start accepting new money again on August 3, 2026, but it might pause again if it gets close to its limit.

While waiting, investors can look at 15 Indian mutual funds that already own more than 10% of foreign stocks.

The top one, Edelweiss Technology Fund, owns 26.8% of its money in big tech companies like Apple and Microsoft.

These domestic funds let investors touch global markets, even though they may not be focused only on foreign stocks.
