Masked men rob Haryana advocate of Rs 3.15 crore

Some robbers wearing masks went into the home of a lawyer named Balwant Singh Walia in Kurukshetra, India.

The lawyer had gone out in the evening to walk his pet dog.

When he came back, he found his wife tied up with rope, with tape over her mouth.

The robbers pointed guns at the elderly couple and tied up the lawyer too.

They made him open their lockers and took money, gold and silver jewellery, utensils, idols and even a licensed revolver.

The robbers said they had tried to rob the same house back in March but could not open the safes.

Before leaving, they demanded more money and warned the couple not to call the police.

Neighbours heard the alarm, freed the couple and informed the police.

The police registered a case and are searching for the robbers by checking CCTV footage.
