Amarnath Calls Polavaram Water Release God’s Script
Gudivada Amarnath criticized Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu over the Polavaram Left Canal project.
He said water entered the canal on the death anniversary of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
Amarnath called this timing “God’s script.”
He said Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had started the canal work and completed most of it.
Amarnath accused Naidu of trying to take credit for that work.
He also said the water came from Purushothapatnam instead of directly from Polavaram.
According to Amarnath, fewer farmers in Visakhapatnam planted paddy this season.
He asked Naidu to focus on promises made to people in North Andhra instead of criticizing Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.
