Maruti Suzuki Expands Hansalpur Plant to 1 Million Units

Maruti Suzuki, a big car company in India, has started making cars at a new line in its big factory in Hansalpur, Gujarat.

This new line can make 250,000 cars a year, so the whole factory can now make 1 million cars a year.

The company has spent about 3,900 crore rupees on this new line, and the whole factory now costs about 25,289 crore rupees.

The first cars made on the new line will be the e‑Vitara, a fully electric SUV.

The factory already sends almost half of its cars to other countries.

Maruti also built a special train track inside the factory to move cars by rail, which helps cut pollution.

This train track is the first of its kind in India and has earned a special green certification.

The new line will help Maruti make more cars for people in India and around the world.

It also shows the company’s plan to grow and make cars in India for the world.
