Annamalai claims TN ministers demand kickbacks, cites audio proof

Some leaders in a state called Tamil Nadu give out big jobs to build things like roads and schools.

A man named Annamalai says a few of these leaders are asking for extra money, called kickbacks, before giving the jobs.

He says he has audio recordings that prove this is happening.

Annamalai used to be a leader in a big political party called the BJP.

He says the head of the state, Chief Minister Vijay, is honest and does not like corruption.

But Annamalai believes some of the Chief Minister's helpers are not being honest.

He wants the Chief Minister to hold weekly meetings so the helpers stay on the right track.

Annamalai says he will wait one year before complaining officially, to give the new leaders a chance.

He also talked about a big river dam project he dislikes and about making sure medical exams are fair.

Annamalai wants the leaders to fix these problems for the people of the state.
