The film earned $1.25 billion globally within ten days of release and crossed the $1 billion mark, with Variety reporting a total of $1.67 billion worldwide by Day 12.
The fourth Spider-Man instalment, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon and Jon Bernthal, could become the first Hollywood film to cross Rs 500 crore gross in India.
