Sheffield Offers Biomedical Engineering Degree With £2,500 Scholarship
The University of Sheffield is offering a biomedical engineering degree beginning in September 2027.
Biomedical engineering uses engineering ideas to help improve medicine and healthcare technology.
The course lasts three years.
Students learn about engineering, science, the human body and medical devices.
They can also study topics such as machine learning, biomechanics and tissue engineering.
Students may add a work placement year or apply to study abroad.
Indian students must meet academic and English-language requirements.
The overseas tuition fee for 2027 has not yet been announced, but the 2026 guide fee is £32,100 for the first year.
Eligible students may receive a £2,500 tuition discount each year.
They must choose Sheffield as a firm or insurance choice by 4 PM UK time on June 2, 2027.
The University of Sheffield is accepting applications for its three-year BEng Biomedical Engineering programme for September 2027.
