MacKenzie Scott Returns to Fiction with Free Substack Novel

MacKenzie Scott is a billionaire who writes books and gives away a lot of money to help others.

Her very first book, 'The Testing of Luther Albright,' came out in 2005 and won a big prize called the American Book Award.

Her second book, 'Traps,' was published in 2013 and told the story of four different women whose lives became connected.

Now Scott has written a brand-new book called 'Last Days in Two Nations.'

Instead of selling it in shops, she will share it online for free on a website called Substack.

That is a big change from how her earlier novels were published.

A long time ago, she helped build the shopping website Amazon with Jeff Bezos.

The Forbes magazine says she has given away more than 26 billion dollars to thousands of organizations.
