Telangana Anganwadi Centres to Receive 100% Basic Facilities
The Telangana government wants every Anganwadi centre to have good toilets, clean water, and electricity.
The minister said that in the last year they added toilets to almost 6,000 centres, water to about 3,800, and electricity to more than 14,000.
She wants the rest of the work finished quickly.
She also wants all children to get milk and breakfast at the centres.
The minister told staff to fill empty teacher jobs, hold meetings, and make the centres better for learning and safety.
She said the centres must be clean, safe, and use money properly.
Minister Dansari Anasuya Seethakka ordered 100% basic infrastructure for all Anganwadi centres.
In the past year, toilets were installed in 5,938 centres, drinking water in 3,815, and electricity in 14,271.
She instructed completion of remaining works and implementation of the milk and breakfast scheme.
The minister directed filling teacher vacancies, district meetings, and improvements in pre‑school education and child‑marriage prevention.
She emphasized child‑friendly, well‑maintained centres and proper use of funds.
