Chennai Temple Inspection Addresses Devotee Complaints

The minister for Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments, S Ramesh, visited the Andavar Temple in Chennai to look into complaints from devotees.

They said it was hard to get close to the inner sanctum because of barricades and that vendors were blocking the paths.

The minister said the barricades are there to keep everyone safe and promised to find a better spot for the vendors.

He also said some areas would be closed to vehicles to make it easier for people to walk around.
