Another man, Happy, was present in an SUV parked outside the residence during the incident.
Investigators are probing the motive, as the attack followed Yadav’s defense of a skit about alleged theft of donations at the Ram temple.
The incident sparked a scuffle between Yadav’s supporters and the attacker, with no official statement released by Delhi Police yet.
