SBI, Titan, Ola Electric among 190 firms reporting Q1 results
Companies make money by selling things, and every few months they tell everyone how their business is going.
These reports are called quarterly results.
On Friday, August 7, more than 190 companies in India are sharing their reports for the months of April, May, and June.
Some of the big names are State Bank of India, Titan, and Ola Electric.
Before the reports come out, experts make their best guesses about what they will say.
They think State Bank of India will keep earning steady money and lend a bit more.
They think Titan, which sells jewelry, will sell a lot more because gold prices went way up.
They think Ola Electric will sell fewer electric scooters and still lose some money.
The stock market barely moved because everyone was waiting for the results.
More than 190 companies, including State Bank of India, Titan Company, Ola Electric Mobility, Hindalco Industries, Power Finance Corporation and Oil India, are scheduled to report Q1 FY27 results on Friday, 7 August 2026.
Brokerage Motilal Oswal expects SBI's net interest margins to hold at 2.84% with credit growth of 3.1% quarter-on-quarter and return on assets at 1.0-1.1%.
Kotak Institutional Equities estimates Titan's standalone domestic recurring jewelry sales growth at 39% year-on-year despite headwinds from the PM's advisory and 'Adhik maas'.
Kotak expects Ola Electric revenues to decline 28% year-on-year on a 36% drop in volumes, with an EBITDA loss of Rs 2.1 billion in 1QFY27.
Indian benchmark indices ended in a tight range, with the Nifty 50 up 0.05% at 24,636 and the Sensex up 0.26% at 78,785, as investors awaited a Middle East peace agreement.
