A big power company called NTPC Khargone held a special event in Sanawad, Madhya Pradesh to help small business owners from the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities.

The event was called an Entrepreneur Awareness and Special Vendor Development Programme.

It teaches small businesses how to sell their goods and services to NTPC.

The programme was opened by the head of the project, Keshab Chandra Singha Roy.

Many helpers attended too, including people from government ministries, banks and business groups.

They gave talks about how to register as a vendor, how buying works, and where to get money and support.

NTPC says it wants to buy more from businesses owned by SC/ST entrepreneurs.

This matches the rules of the Indian government for small businesses.
