A group of workers was taking down an old, unsafe building in Sanwer.

During the work, a wall from a nearby house suddenly fell.

Four women workers died in the accident.

Five other people were hurt.

The incident happened near Tashan Square at about 4 p.m.

on Wednesday.

Rescue workers used a JCB machine to remove the rubble.

The injured were taken to hospital, with the most seriously hurt sent to MY Hospital.

Officials said the building’s balcony had reportedly fallen a month earlier and that a notice had been issued to its owner.
