Cyril Shroff, IIM Ahmedabad Launch Academy for General Counsels
Mr. Cyril Shroff is a very important lawyer in India.
He works for a big law firm called Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
He has teamed up with a famous business school called IIM Ahmedabad.
Together, they are starting a special new school called the Cyril Shroff-IIMA GC Leadership Academy.

A Memorandum of Understanding formalising the academy was signed on Saturday, August 8, 2026, with the launch ceremony held at the IIM Ahmedabad campus.
The academy aims to develop the next generation of general counsels for enterprise-level leadership, focusing on enterprise leadership, finance integration and technological readiness.
IIM Ahmedabad Director Prof Bharat Bhasker said the initiative will help legal counsels lead at the intersection of law, business and governance.
