Maharashtra Launches 1,071 MW Solar Projects for Farmers
The Maharashtra government is launching solar power projects to help farmers get electricity during the day.
MAHAGENCO, a power company, will build these projects, which are part of the Chief Minister’s Solar Agriculture Feeder Scheme 2.0.
The aim is to use cleaner energy, lower pollution, and improve farming.
The solar projects will be built close to where the electricity is used on farms.
GEAPP India will assist in tracking the project's progress.
This is meant to help both farmers and the state, reducing costs and ensuring a steady power supply.
