CMC Suspends Town Planning Officer After Fatal Unauthorized Building Collapse

The town-planning department had reportedly issued a notice about the construction on June 17.

The corporation said he did not take enough action to stop the building work.
Police were asked to register a case against the people identified as its builders, and officials ordered inspections of other unauthorised buildings.
