Improper to engage in speculation: Fadnavis on CBI FIR in Disha Salian death case · theprint.in

Disha Salian died after falling from a building in Mumbai in June 2020.

A court has now ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation, or CBI, to look into her death.

The CBI registered a case, but it did not name any accused.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said people should wait for the CBI’s investigation.

He also said he had not yet read the FIR.

The court criticized Mumbai Police for not registering an FIR for six years.

Disha’s father asked that several politicians, actors and police officers be investigated.

Disha had worked as a manager for actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died six days later.
