Skoda India Raises Car Prices Ahead of Slavia Facelift Launch
Skoda has made its cars in India slightly more expensive from 1 October.
The price increase will be no more than ₹20,000 or 1.2%, depending on which limit is lower.
Skoda says higher costs for making and running its business caused the change.
The exact increase for each version of each car has not been announced.
The Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq and Kodiaq are all covered by the hike.
Skoda is also preparing to launch an updated Slavia on 6 October.
The updated car will have new styling and features.
It will continue to use turbo-petrol engines, with changes to its automatic gearbox options.
