Two Chhattisgarh-Linked NRI Women Missing After Nepal Floods
Serious floods and landslides have affected parts of Nepal.
Two women connected to the Indian state of Chhattisgarh cannot currently be located.
Priyanka Chaudhary is from Bilaspur and is a citizen of Finland.
Dr Meena Gupta is from Surguja and is a British citizen.
Gupta was last known to be at an immigration office near the Nepal-China border.
Officials are working with Nepalese authorities and other agencies to find them.
Two other women who had been reported missing have contacted their families.
Five people from Raipur were found safe and started traveling home.
Priyanka Chaudhary and Dr Meena Gupta were reported missing after floods in Nepal.
Chaudhary, 39, is from Bilaspur and is a Finnish citizen.
Gupta is from Surguja, a British citizen, and was last known to be at Rasuwagadhi immigration office.
Two previously missing women contacted their families, while five Raipur residents were confirmed safe and began returning home.
Chhattisgarh is coordinating with Nepalese authorities and central agencies to locate missing residents and assist their families.
