Odisha Chief Minister Says Resolving Public Grievances Remains Top Priority

Odisha held its 20th public meeting to hear people’s complaints.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi said the government wants to listen carefully and help people.

He said solving public problems is the government’s most important task.

Ten senior ministers and officials joined the hearing.

The government said it resolved about 95% of complaints from the previous 19 state hearings.

District officials also heard many complaints and resolved 87% of them through July.

Majhi met people with disabilities and serious illnesses first.

He approved medical help worth Rs 14.50 lakh for 16 people, while more than 600 petitions were submitted that day.
