Minister Savitha Felicitates Ball Badminton Player Sai Kumar
Devalla Sai Kumar is a student at an MJP BC residential school in Vinukonda.
He played ball badminton in a state competition.
He won the Best Player award there.
His team or state side also secured third place.
Because of his performance, he was chosen to represent Andhra Pradesh nationally.
The national competition will be held in Chhattisgarh from October 3.
Minister S Savitha congratulated him at her office in Tadepalli.
She gave him new sportswear and thanked his coach and principal for helping him.
Devalla Sai Kumar won the Best Player award at the 11th AP State Sub-Junior Ball Badminton Championships.
He helped secure third place at the state championship held in Markapur from September 9 to 13.
Sai Kumar was selected to represent Andhra Pradesh at the national championships in Chhattisgarh from October 3.
Minister S Savitha felicitated Sai Kumar and presented him with new sportswear at her Tadepalli camp office.
Savitha also praised coach Juna Naik and principal Y. Ramesh for supporting Sai Kumar’s development.
