Kumari Selja: Crime, lawlessness gripping Haryana; govt failed

A leader named Kumari Selja, who helps run a big political group called Congress, said she is worried about safety in a place called Haryana in India.

She said there have been more crimes lately, like murder, robbery, extortion and scary shooting, and people are feeling scared.

She told everyone about bad men on motorcycles who fired guns near the office of another leader named Balram Dangi.

That office is in the city of Rohtak, and the shooting happened very close to a police station.

Selja said that if a leader's office near a police station is not safe, then ordinary families must be really scared too.

She thinks the people in charge of Haryana are not doing enough to stop the criminals.

She says the government only talks about numbers and statements instead of fixing what is really happening on the ground.

She wants more police and tougher action against criminal gangs, and she wants someone to be blamed when things go wrong.

She also asks leaders to listen to people's questions instead of calling them complaints.
