Spider-Man: Brand New Day Beats Endgame, Fastest to $500M Domestically
A movie called Spider-Man: Brand New Day is doing something no movie has ever done before.
In just one week, it made more than $500 million at movie theaters in the United States and Canada.
That is faster than Avengers: Endgame, the movie that set the old record by doing it in eight days.
Spider-Man is played by actor Tom Holland, and the movie also stars Zendaya.

It is the 23rd film in North American history to top $500M; Star Wars: The Force Awakens leads the all-time list with $936.6M and previously held the 10-day speed record.
Worldwide, it passed £866M (about $1.19B per the headline) in its first week to become the highest-grossing film of 2026, overtaking Toy Story 5, and crossed the £750M mark in six days — second-fastest after Avengers: Endgame.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said he did not expect the Endgame record to fall; IMAX screens now co-share the film with Universal's The Odyssey as projections put it near Force Awakens' all-time domestic total.
