Kota woman dies after childbirth; family alleges hospital negligence
A woman named Gangotri Saini went to a hospital in Kota, India, to have her baby.
She was 34 years old, and her pregnancy was risky because she had high blood pressure and an illness called Hepatitis B. She gave birth to a healthy baby on the night of August 8.
Soon after, doctors found that her blood was not clotting properly and she started bleeding in many places.
Doctors gave her treatment and for a while she seemed to get better, but then her condition suddenly became very serious.
They tried hard to save her with oxygen and other emergency care, but she died.
