Telangana Employees Demand Action on Long-Pending Service Issues
Achieving Telangana was a curse? questions employees JAC leader · thehansindia.com

Telangana government employees say many promised benefits are still delayed.

Their leader, V Lachhi Reddy, asked whether creating Telangana had made things harder for employees.

He said workers had supported the statehood movement because they expected better service conditions.

The employees want the Pay Revision Commission report implemented and unpaid Dearness Allowance released.

They also want the Old Pension Scheme restored instead of the Contributory Pension Scheme.

The group raised concerns about retirement payments and the employee health scheme.

It said some long-serving outsourcing workers had lost their jobs.

The Employees’ JAC listed 42 problems and plans to keep discussing them with the government.
