Three arrested in Vinduru murder of 29-year-old man
A man named Sheik Shahul, who was 29 years old, was hurt very badly and died in a village called Vinduru.
Police found his body on August 1 at the Zilla Parishad High School building.
Three young men from the same village are accused of hurting him.
Their names are D Mahendra, P Kamesh and K Venkateswarlu.
Police say that on the night of July 31, Shahul had been drinking alcohol and was sitting near Padamatamma temple.
The three accused men had also been drinking.
They started questioning Shahul, and a big argument began.
Then they stabbed him with dangerous weapons and ran away.
Police studied camera footage and other clues to understand what happened.
Acting on a tip-off, they arrested the three men on the outskirts of the village on Wednesday.
Police arrested D Mahendra (19), P Kamesh (20) and K Venkateswarlu (25) for the murder of 29-year-old Sheik Shahul in Vinduru village.
Shahul's body was found on the first floor of Zilla Parishad High School building on August 1.
The victim reportedly had a habit of consuming alcohol and allegedly abusing villagers with foul language.
On the night of July 31, a heated exchange near Padamatamma temple ended with the accused stabbing Shahul with lethal weapons.
Gudur Rural CI Kishore Babu led the probe using CCTV, digital analysis and scientific evidence; the trio was arrested on a tip-off on Wednesday.
