Cambridge June 2026 results show 11% growth in India
Cambridge exams are tests that students in many countries can take to show what they have learned.
In India, many students take these exams in June.
This year, the number of exam papers taken in India went up a lot.
It grew by 11% compared to last year.
More than 40,000 exam papers were taken in June 2026.
The biggest jump was in the AS and A Level exams, which help older students get into university.
Their numbers went up by 15% to more than 14,000 papers.
More schools are also joining, rising from 293 to 347 in two years.
This shows that Cambridge exams are becoming more popular in India.
Each student can take more than one paper, so entries do not exactly equal student numbers.
Cambridge International exam entries in India rose 11% year-on-year to more than 40,000 in the June 2026 series.
Cambridge International AS & A Level saw the highest growth, with entries up 15% to more than 14,000.
Entries grew from 34,000 in June 2024 to 36,000 in June 2025 and over 40,000 in June 2026.
The number of schools making entries rose from 293 to 317 to 347 over the same period.
The Cambridge March Series is becoming increasingly aligned with India's academic calendar, while the June Series remains a key route for international curriculum students.
