Investor complaints on SEBI’s SCORES platform drop by 9% in FY26 · indianexpress.com

SEBI is the group in charge of watching over the stock market, where people buy and sell pieces of companies.

It has a special website called SCORES where investors can tell SEBI when something goes wrong.

In the last financial year, fewer people complained through this website.

The number of complaints dropped by more than nine percent.

Investors sent in 61,788 complaints, compared with 68,132 the year before.

Many of the complaints were about stockbrokers, the people who help investors buy and sell shares.

Complaints about stockbrokers also went down, from 26,073 to 20,756.

Experts think fewer complaints happened because SEBI is watching more closely and security is better.

Fewer complaints can mean the market is becoming safer for regular people.
