22-Year-Old Creator's Earnings Aid 1,000 Assam Flood Families
22-YO Creator Uses His Content Earnings to Help 1000 Families in Flood-Hit Assam · thebetterindia.com

Assam is a region facing some of the worst floods it has seen in many years.

Rising water has forced millions of families to leave their homes.

Roads have disappeared, so it is very hard to reach people who are trapped.

A 22-year-old video creator named Produnaya Chutia wants to help.

He uses the money he earns from making content to buy supplies for flood victims.

Every day, he and his team sail on boats to villages cut off by water.

When boats cannot go further, he walks through deep water and mud, and sometimes even swims.

In just 10 days, his team helped more than 1,000 families in over 16 villages.

They gave out food, clean water, medicines, school materials, and tarpaulins for shelter.

Produnaya grew up as a farmer's son and knows what hardship feels like, and his dream is to help families rebuild their homes once the floods are over.
