Police in Kurukshetra are investigating the death of a man named Rajesh.

His wife, Vimla Devi, is accused of attacking him in their rented home.

Their landlord said he heard the couple arguing at about 5 p.m.

He said Rajesh was badly hurt and that Vimla was putting his intestines into a bag.

Vimla reportedly jumped from the terrace after the landlord arrived.

She survived but was seriously injured and taken to a hospital.

A post-mortem found very severe injuries, and some organs were reportedly missing.

Police found three knives and are waiting to question Vimla before determining exactly what happened and why.
