MNS Ambarnath chief arrested for assault on BJP functionary
In a city called Ambarnath in India, a fight happened between two political groups.
The police arrested the local chief of one group, the MNS, and his friend.
They are accused of going into the office of a local BJP leader named Laxmi Narayan Chauhan at night and hurting him.
The police say the group pulled down the office shutter and trapped women inside before the assault.
This happened because of an old disagreement between the two sides.
After the arrest, angry supporters of both groups gathered at the police station and got into a brawl.
Some people reportedly hurt the MNS chief and damaged his vehicle.
Both sides have filed complaints against each other, and a court sent the accused to three days of police custody.

The attack occurred during the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday in Chauhan's Vadavali office, reportedly a fallout of previous enmity.
Charges against the accused include extortion, robbery, house trespass, house break-in, and the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
A court in Ulhasnagar remanded Shirke and his aide to three days of police custody.
Clashes later broke out at Shivaji Nagar police station, where BJP workers allegedly assaulted Shirke and damaged his vehicle, prompting an MNS counter-complaint.
