Chevening Scholarships 2026-27 Applications Open for Indian Students

The Chevening Scholarship is a special prize that lets students study in the United Kingdom for free.

It pays for a one-year master's degree at a UK university.

On August 4, 2026, applications opened for Indian students and professionals.

You have until October 6, 2026, to send in your application online.

To apply, you must be an Indian citizen and have at least two years of work experience.

You must also pick three different master's courses and get an offer from at least one of them.

After your studies, you have to return to India and stay there for at least two years.

This scholarship is for future leaders who plan to help their home country.

About 4,000 people from India have already won it, more than from any other country.

Winners will hear back from mid-June 2027 and could start studying in September or October 2027.
