Pangolin rescued from house in Assam

A pangolin, which is an endangered animal also known as a scaly anteater, was found in a house in Diphu, Assam.

Local youths saw it and safely caught it, then gave it to the Forest Department.

The Forest Department took the pangolin to a safe part of the forest.

This is the first time a pangolin has been seen in this area.

The pangolin had been walking around the neighborhood for two days before it was found in the house.
