Indore’s ISBT Set To Connect Madhya Pradesh With Gujarat, Rajasthan & Delhi Ahead Of Simhastha 2028 · freepressjournal.in

The city of Indore in India is upgrading its big bus station, called the Kumedi Inter-State Bus Terminal.

Soon, people will be able to travel from there to other states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Delhi.

A company named BVG India Limited has been asked to take care of the bus station.

The station is very large, covering about 5.85 hectares of land.

Every day, it can handle more than 1,500 buses and about 50,000 to 55,000 passengers.

It is not just a bus station — it connects to the metro train too, with a bridge for easy walking between them.

The station uses smart technology like CCTV cameras, digital payments, and automated parking.

It also focuses on nature, using solar power, recycling water, and managing waste carefully.

Inside, there will be shops, restaurants, and food courts, making it more than a bus stop.

The station is being prepared for a big religious event called Simhastha 2028, when many visitors are expected.
