APCRDA Allots Amaravati Land to LIC, Farmers Receive Plots

The Amaravati development authority gave LIC 0.40 acres of land for a new office complex.

The land is in Uddandarayunipalem.

LIC also plans to build quarters for its officers there.

The authority and LIC signed an Agreement for Sale.

The office is expected to have about 11,000 square metres of space.

It may provide work for around 1,250 people.

The authority also used an e-lottery to give 28 replacement plots to 18 farmers.

These farmers had contributed land for the Amaravati capital or were affected by other land issues.

The plots included homesites and business sites, and officials will help farmers register and locate them.
