Penumaka Farmers Voluntarily Contribute 7.10 Acres for Amaravati
Eight farmers from Penumaka gave 7.10 acres of land to help develop Amaravati.
They joined a government land pooling programme.
The farmers gave their consent letters to an APCRDA official.
The documents were handed over at the APCRDA office in Rayapudi.
Some of the land will be used for areas developed for capital farmers.
Other portions are planned for major roads and flood management.
The farmers said they were happy to support Amaravati.
They also asked other residents to cooperate with the land pooling work.
Eight Penumaka farmers voluntarily contributed 7.10 acres under the Land Pooling Scheme.
The farmers submitted consent letters to APCRDA additional commissioner Kollabattula Karthik.
The land will support capital-farmer development zones, trunk roads and flood management projects.
The consent letters were handed over at the APCRDA headquarters in Rayapudi on Wednesday.
The farmers urged other capital-village residents to cooperate with the ongoing land pooling process.
