Gautam Gambhir to Miss Zimbabwe Series
Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, will not be coaching the team for the upcoming series against Zimbabwe.
Instead, VVS Laxman, a former Indian cricket player, will be taking over as the coach for this series.
Gambhir has been coaching the team for almost two years and will be taking a break.
Laxman has coached the team before during Rahul Dravid's time as head coach.
This is the first series Gambhir will miss since he joined the coaching staff in July 2024.
Gautam Gambhir will miss the upcoming three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe.
VVS Laxman will replace Gambhir as the head coach for this series.
Laxman previously coached Team India during Rahul Dravid's tenure.
