Dr MCR Tims Begins Inpatient Services August 21
Dr MCR Tims is a new hospital that will begin treating patients inside the hospital on August 21.
It will first provide general medicine, bone and joint care, and heart care.
Emergency patients in these areas can be admitted for treatment.
The hospital will initially use 582 beds.
People can also visit the hospital during the day for outpatient care.
Registration will happen at nine counters before noon.
Patients will receive tokens to help manage queues.
Kidney-related services will begin later.
The hospital is still filling many of its approved jobs.
General medicine, orthopaedic and cardiac inpatient services will begin at Dr MCR Tims on August 21.
The first phase will use 582 beds for elective procedures and emergency cases.
Outpatient services will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with registration open until noon at nine counters.
Renal services will start later, while 2,360 posts have been sanctioned for the hospital.
About 1,200 vacant posts from nearby government hospitals and medical colleges have been redeployed in two phases.
