SPJIMR revamps PGPDM curriculum and programme for social sector

SPJIMR is a school in Mumbai, India that helps grown-ups learn how to improve society and help people in need.

This kind of work is called development management.

The school has changed its lessons to cover new and important topics.

These include taking care of the environment, using artificial intelligence to help people, and starting projects that do good.

Now, students who have jobs can attend classes online sometimes, which makes it easier to study.

Students will also practice skills like leading teams, communicating well, and writing professionally.

They will work together on a big social impact project for a whole year with other students at the school.

Starting in February 2027, about 100 students will join the programme each year.

The programme is now in its 16th year and many graduates have become leaders at charities and social companies.
