DMK to skip all-party meet over delimitation fears: Kanimozhi
Kanimozhi explains DMK’s position on delimitation · thehansindia.com

Imagine a big national game where each state gets a certain number of players.

Right now, the state of Tamil Nadu gets to send about 7.18 percent of the players to the national parliament.

Changing how many players each state gets is called delimitation.

A political party called the DMK is worried that Tamil Nadu might end up with fewer players after the change.

A leader of the party, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, said they want the change to be fair.

She said the party will not attend a big meeting of members of parliament.

The meeting is being led by Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay.

It is happening in Chennai on Saturday.

The DMK is staying away to show they care about keeping Tamil Nadu's share of representatives.
