Pune Floods Rescue 20‑Day‑Old Baby After Dam Release

A big dam called Khadakwasla was full because of a lot of rain.

The people who run the dam let a lot of water out to keep the dam safe.

The water went into a town called Ekta Nagar in Pune and made the streets very wet.

A baby who was only 20 days old was in a house that was getting flooded.

People in the town helped by carrying the baby to a safer place.

The city officials moved about 40 families to safer homes.

The flood also made some rivers in another town, Kolhapur, full, so they had to let water out of other dams too.

Everyone is staying careful because the water level can still change.
