Putin Outlines Russia’s Response to 30,000 Western Sanctions
Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia is facing more than 30,000 sanctions.
Sanctions are rules meant to pressure a country by limiting trade or business.
Putin said Russia has more sanctions than all other countries combined by more than two times.
He spoke at a BRICS business meeting in New Delhi.
He called the use of trade pressure “ugly.”
Putin said pipelines have been destroyed and some transport routes have been blocked.
He also mentioned restrictions he called illegal.
