Priyanka Gandhi Slams Amit Shah Over Vande Mataram Parliament Attendance

Indian leaders hold big meetings in a building called Parliament to make the country's rules.

A set of meetings called the Monsoon Session just ended.

A leader named Priyanka Gandhi was upset because the Home Minister, Mr. Amit Shah, did not attend the meetings.

She said he only came on the last day to sing a special song called 'Vande Mataram.'

She asked how the country's democracy can work if the Prime Minister and Home Minister do not come to Parliament.

Other leaders were also upset about police action against students in Delhi.

They wanted the government to answer their questions, but the government said the matter could be discussed in Parliament.

A leader named Sanjay Yadav said the government wastes people's money and passes new rules too quickly, calling them 'Maggi bills.'

Many leaders felt the government did not listen to them during the session.
