The testing comes after injuries affected several Indian players.

The BCCI has reportedly introduced standard fitness rules for the team.

These include the Bronco test and a two-kilometre running test.

Players must complete the two-kilometre test in about nine to ten minutes.

India will soon play Afghanistan and the West Indies.

Teams will also participate in the Asian Games 2026 and tour New Zealand.
