The United States military carried out attacks in a country called Yemen.

They were trying to stop a group called the Houthis.

This mission was named Operation Rough Rider.

During it, the military hit three places.

Afterward, the Pentagon, the part of the U.S. government that runs the military, had to check if any regular people were hurt.

They looked at pictures and other information, but they did not visit Yemen themselves.

They found that 153 people who were not soldiers probably died, and 243 more were hurt.

Most of the deaths happened near a place called Ras Isa, and others happened near Saada and Sanaa.

The Pentagon told Congress, the people who make laws in America, what they found.

They are still looking into 15 more incidents.
