Bank to auction Rajpal Yadav's properties over unpaid loan
Rajpal Yadav in fresh trouble: Bank to auction actor's properties over unpaid ₹16.61 crore loan · businesstoday.in

A famous movie actor named Rajpal Yadav needed money to make his own movie, so he borrowed a very large amount of money — over 16 crore rupees.

He borrowed it from a businessman and promised to pay it back no matter what happened with the movie.

The actor's wife even sent emotional messages asking the businessman to help them.

As a safety promise, the family gave some of their land and houses to the bank.

But the money was not paid back on time.

Because of that, the bank is now allowed to sell those houses and land to get its money back.

The bank will hold an online sale, called an auction, on September 9.

Some of the actor's other homes in Mumbai might also be sold.

The actor has not said anything about all this yet.
