Bhopal Power Cut August 9: Scheduled Maintenance Disrupts Supply

On Sunday, August 9, some parts of a city called Bhopal will not have electricity for a few hours.

This happens because workers from the electricity department need to fix and check things.

When they do this, they have to turn the power off for a little while.

This is called a power cut.

Many neighborhoods will be affected, like Govindpura Market and New Subhash Nagar.

Most of these places will lose power from 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.

A few places will only lose power for a shorter time, like until noon or 1 o'clock.

The workers will turn the power back on when they finish their job.

People who live there should finish things that need electricity before the power goes off.

After the work is done, electricity will come back.
