Bengaluru Minister Felicitates 181 SSLC and PUC Toppers
A civic programme in Bengaluru celebrated students who performed very well in their exams.
Minister Krishna Byre Gowda honoured 181 students.
They included students from SSLC, PUC and Greater Bengaluru Authority schools.
The students received certificates, medals and other gifts.
The top five SSLC students and top three PUC students received tablets.
The minister said such results require discipline and hard work.
He also said students should not give up because their schools lack facilities.
He reminded everyone that talent in sports, arts, science, technology and other fields matters too.
Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda honoured 181 high-performing students at the Nammuru Hemme programme.
The awardees included 106 SSLC students, 45 PUC students and 30 students from Greater Bengaluru Authority schools.
All students received certificates, medals and mementoes, while eight top performers received tablets.
Students qualified with at least 621 SSLC marks, 596 PUC marks or 496 central-syllabus marks.
Gowda praised discipline and hard work while saying talent in fields beyond academics also deserves recognition.
