YSRC MLA Remanded After Alleged Attack on TD Activist
A politician from the YSRC party, B. Virupakshi, was taken to jail for 14 days after a fight in two villages.
He and 16 other people were accused of hitting a TD activist named Shekhar and breaking his car.
The fight happened on August 1, 2024, when supporters of both parties got into a quarrel.
Police arrested everyone involved and put them in custody.
After the arrest, many YSRC supporters gathered outside the police station, so the police had to add more officers to keep the area safe.
